Free SEO Audit Tool
Run a full audit of one page, grouped into technical, on-page, content and social sections, with a report you can download and hand to a developer.
The page is fetched once and nothing is stored. Sites that block automated requests may not respond.
How to use this tool
- Paste the URL of the page you want audited.
- Read the technical section first — a noindex tag makes everything else moot.
- Download the report if someone else will be doing the fixing.
- Repeat for your other important pages.
What is SEO Audit Tool?
A page audit is the first thing worth doing when a page is not performing. It rules out the boring explanations — blocked by robots, marked noindex, missing a title, redirecting somewhere unexpected — before anyone starts theorising about content or competition.
The report is plain text on purpose. It can be pasted into a ticket, an email or a document without anything being lost.
Best practices
- Audit templates rather than every page: fixing one template fixes hundreds of pages.
- Start with technical issues, then on-page, then content.
- Re-audit after a site migration or redesign, when problems are introduced silently.
- Pair this with Search Console, which shows what Google actually did with the page.
Frequently asked questions
Can it audit my whole site?
No. Crawling an entire site means hundreds or thousands of requests to someone else’s server, which is not something a free anonymous tool should do. For site-wide crawls use a desktop crawler such as Screaming Frog.
Why is page speed not included?
Measuring it honestly requires loading the page in a real browser and timing the render. This tool fetches the HTML only. A speed number derived from that would be a guess, so it is not shown. Use PageSpeed Insights, which measures it properly.
Does the report contain any data about competitors?
No. It contains only what was found in the HTML of the page you submitted.
